This time we would like to bring you a car which is considered the most beautiful berlina ever made by many classic cars lovers.

The Jaguar MK I Saloon, with 2,4 litres cubic capacity and 110 bhp was released in September, 1955. Eventually it got several aesthetic and mechanical setting ups, until October, 1959, when the faster and more developed of all versions finally appeared, the Jaguar MK II with 3.800 cc and 220 bhp SAE.

Without being a car with revolutionary technical features, it had some very interesting details for that time, like the disc brakes, single-hulled vessel frame, and its powerful in-line six-cylinder engine, with chain-driven twin overhead camshafts, derived from the sports cars XK and their competition versions.

It was the precursor of the present high standing berlinas, quick and luxurious. The MK II was a prestigious car, for daily use, like in this version we have chosen, being the car driven by a chauffeur taking a wealthy lady home after an exhausting shopping afternoon.

As you now, this model also participated in racetrack and road contests with great success, being driven by prestigious and very quick pilots, who took it to the victory many times and that we will reproduce in our next references.

Because of its feline shape, its personality and sporting performance, it deserves a place in your showcases, next to your other Slot Classic models.

Model UNAVAILABLE.
