Slot Classic appears in 1995 thanks to the effort of César Jiménez, an enthusiast of classic automobiles and collector of slot cars. He is also an autodidact modeller so he decides to make true his dream of providing to other collectors the models he created for his own collection. For the project he avoids the high costs and the growth of the industrial production and follows the tradition of european craftsmen of 1:43 scale miniatures, manufacturing the main pieces (coachwork, chassis and pilot's panel) in high quality resin of polyurethane with great resistance to impacts. The models are completed with pieces in photoengraving, nickelated white metal, crystal, plate glasses in PVC, tyres of PINKKAR origin and spokes of own making. Each tyre is composed by five pieces: a plastic core, a aluminium external ring, two plaquettes of photoengraving spokes and a central top in nickelated white metal. These novel tyres are also commercializated in KIT, they are general for axis with a diameter of 2,5 mm and are great to improve industrial slot cars or motorized models. Besides, the personages depend of each epoch, which gives a particular and artistic touch to the differents models.

Each model comes in three different versions:

• KIT - Coachwork, chassis and pilot's panel in resin of polyurethane, crystals in PVC, aluminium rims, rubber tyres, metallic pieces in chromium-plated white metal, water adhesives, with axis and without mechanics.
  
• KPP - Prepainted kit (laquer coachwork).
  
• RTR - Ready to run, professional finish and "NINCO" motorization.
